Job Summary
Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting responsible for overseeing fund accounting output, reconciling books and records, managing NAV production with fund administrators, and supporting new ventures and funds. Core duties include reviewing financial statements and capital activity, ensuring compliance with policies, reconciling accounts with third party administrators, assisting with audits and regulatory reporting, and communicating findings to management. Must analyze data, deliver timely resolutions, and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration with Tax, Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Legal. Strong Excel and GAAP expertise, experience with fund accounting and private funds or BDCs, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines are essential.
