Job Summary
Assistant Vice President role in Deutsche Bank's Global Technology group is based in Cary, NC and focuses on developing critical banking systems and applications to support data-driven decisions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) or equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience in database design and development including ERD/data models, table partitioning, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and external table usage. Responsibilities include ETL processes, batch scheduling with CRON, UNIX scripting, SQL tuning using Explain Plan, and troubleshooting production defects. The candidate will work on partitions, ref cursors, external tables, constraints, bulk collect, and pipelined table functions, FORALL, and analytical functions; experience with SQL Loader and multi-insert techniques is expected. The position offers a competitive salary range of $148,410 - $165,000 per year and is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program. EOE statements and benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field or equivalent
- five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing database, developing ERD, Logical/Physical data models, and creating tables; partitioning tables, views, sequences, indexes and other DB objects
- experience writing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- experience on partitions, ref cursors, external tables, constraints, bulk collect, and insert ALL; pipelining table functions, FORALL, and Analytical functions
- experience performing ETL process using External Tables and SQL Loader, Conditional/Unconditional Multi Inserts, and Pipelined Table functions
- experience writing UNIX scripts to process feed files and batch process; scheduling batch jobs on CRON; SQL tuning using Explain Plan, Hints, and Index; troubleshooting and resolving production defects
