Assistant Vice President, Cybersecurity

Job Summary
Coordinate regulatory, APAC, and Head Office security assessments to ensure effective security controls. Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies and standards while managing the implementation and operation of security systems and controls. Drive security hardening and vulnerability management initiatives, monitor cyber threat intelligence, and coordinate incident management, response, and reporting. Promote security culture across the organization through enhanced awareness training. Requires a degree in IT or cybersecurity with 8 years of experience, fluency in English and Cantonese, and familiarity with HKMA requirements. Applicants must complete the Mandatory Reference Check scheme.
Required Qualifications
- Degree holder in IT, Cybersecurity or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years' experience in IT industry
- 5 years' experience in cybersecurity and risk management
- Experience in supporting security assessment and security systems implementation
- Able to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Cantonese
Desired Qualifications
- Banking industry experience
- Familiar with HKMA requirements
- Holder of CISA / CISM / CISSP or other HKMA ECF-C recognized certificate
- Knowledge in Mandarin
