Job Summary
Direct handling of complex casualty files involving significant bodily injury, property damage, and coverage issues. Apply strong technical knowledge, legal insights, and accuracy to claim files with a high degree of customer service. Provide coverage and analytical analysis of potential exposures, develop successful litigation and resolution strategies, and establish appropriate reserves. Timely identify and elevate potential large losses while communicating effectively internally and externally. This role requires 15+ years of experience in insurance-related technical claims, specifically in excess liability and severity handling, with a BA/BS degree required and a Juris Doctorate optional.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in an insurance-related technical claims position
- emphasis on excess liability
- catastrophic bodily injury and/or property damage
- severity claims handling
- BA/BS degree

- Insurance related professional designations/education such as CPCU, IIA & SCLA
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
