Job Summary
Take ownership of all operational processes including order management, reconciliation, and fee calculation to ensure back office accuracy and efficiency. Establish and maintain effective controls over SLAMHK's operations to manage risks and compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Continuously enhance the operations framework through automation, lead projects such as internal audits, and streamline workflows to drive productivity. Support the CEO in developing and implementing overall company strategy while overseeing compliance reporting and issue escalation. Manage relationships with internal functions and external parties including custodians and fund managers. Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team through mentoring and coaching within the asset management field.
Required Qualifications
- adequate hands-on experience in the field of asset management
- University degree in Finance, Business Admin or similar discipline
- At least 10 years of solid fund industry experience, ideally covering different aspects of a asset management business
- exceptional implementation/execution skills
- willing to take ownership and run the extra mile
- team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Diligent, compliance-minded, able to work under pressure, and have a keen eye on efficiency
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Other professional qualification a plus (e.g. CFA, FRM)
