Job Summary
Design practice and work with the head coach to administer a comprehensive softball program while supervising student athletes. Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training to foster individual and team success alongside character development. Serve as a role model through instructions and actions, adhering to Worthington School District rules and procedures. Upgrade coaching knowledge through clinics, observations, and consultation. Reports to the head girls softball coach and activities director.
Required Qualifications
- Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport
- Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
- Ability to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field
- Ability to serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions
