Job Summary
Assist in leading Sewickley Academy's golf program as Assistant Varsity/Head JV Golf Coach on a part-time basis. Plan and conduct practices to develop fundamental golf skills, course management, and sportsmanship; teach rules and etiquette; supervise student-athletes during practices, matches, and team activities; manage team communication; transport student-athletes to and from practices, matches, and events using school vans; collaborate with the Head Varsity Golf Coach and Athletic Director to support program goals; ensure compliance with school, league, and state policies; maintain a safe environment; promote a positive and inclusive team culture; and contribute to player development and competitive performance.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR, First Aid
- PIAA Coaching Certifications
- required background clearances (or ability to obtain before employment)
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Must meet all school district requirements for operating a school van or district vehicle
