Job Summary
Assistant Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach for KIPP Esperanza. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing the team; instructing and demonstrating skill sets; ensuring rules and eligibility are followed; coordinating tryouts and communicating with Athletic Director; creating safe learning environments; supervising athletes at practices and games, and transporting athletes to events. Requires 2–3 years coaching experience, HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), CA Class C license with insurance, DMV report, and safety training certifications (NFHS, CPR/First Aid). Position is seasonal/part-time (17.5 hours/week, ~10 weeks).
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of High School or Club Volleyball coaching experience encouraged
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Valid CA license (Class C) and current insurance coverage
- Safe driving record (will be ask to provide a DMV report)
- Ability to lead practices 3 times a week and games 2 times a week
- Experience with NFHS Learn and safety trainings
