Job Summary
The Assistant Valet Parking Manager will assist in overseeing valet parking operations, ensuring client satisfaction and managing associates in a professional environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or GED
- Prior guest service and hotel experience preferred
- Valid state driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) a plus
- Ability to read and write English exceptionally well
- Ability to communicate effectively with all socio-economical levels
- Physical ability to perform job duties as described
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Google or Microsoft software skills
- Valet Parking Software working experience
- Hotel management experience
- 4+ years service related management experience
- Proven ability to manage a team
- Ability to communicate in other languages, Spanish preferred
- Previous guest relations training
- Previous formal parking or hotel management training
- College degree in hotel, hospitality, restaurant or retail
Additional Requirements
- Availability to work all shifts and/or weekends required
- Must maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times
