Assistant Urban Planner

Job Summary
Assist in conducting research and analysis for planning and design projects. Analyze site data, process data, and draw up preliminary planning and design drafts. Assist project managers or senior designers in drawing up planning and design strategies. Assist in the creation of three-dimensional digital models and project texts/reports, as well as the preparation of presentation materials. Attend internal and external project meetings. Provide additional support to ensure smooth progress of projects. Portfolio attached is a must. Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or design or closely related fields; 1-2 years working experience preferred. Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills; Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Knowledge of 3D programs like Studio, Rhino, SketchUp; Good hand drawing skills; Strong attention to detail; Excellent organizational and communication skills in English and Mandarin; Portfolio attached is a must.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or design or closely related fields
- Promising portfolio of built work demonstrating technical capabilities
- Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Experience with 3D programs such as Studio, Rhino, SketchUp
- Good hand drawing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good writing and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Portfolio attached is a must
