Job Summary
Manage all aspects of criminal prosecution within the Lincoln County Magistrate Court, including case review, charging decisions, plea negotiations, motion practice, and regular court appearances. Handle jury trials frequently to develop strong courtroom advocacy skills while working independently to make decisions on dismissals, trials, or plea agreements under assigned supervisor guidance. Perform duties in office and courtroom environments, with occasional travel to crime scenes required. Full-time Monday-Friday 8-5p schedule in Carrizozo, NM.
Required Qualifications
