Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations within an assigned function, managing all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Lead direct reports while attaining daily operational goals, ensuring customer service satisfaction and expectation management. Handle staffing performance and development for both exempt and non-exempt employees, including day-to-day planning and scheduling. Enforce Health and Safety Management and ensure compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned, including off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises. Make timely decisions and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of supply chain/logistics experience, and one year of direct supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry related field
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Logistics industry knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production
- Ability to work within international functional teams
- High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
- Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis
- Makes decisions in a timely manner
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Must be available for Sunday-Friday 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
