Job Summary
Conduct geometric design of intersections, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant elements, including DEP system design, utility conflict resolution, and flood protection infrastructure. Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications while coordinating with NYCDOT, MTA, and private utility companies. Perform field data collection, surveys, and construction observation, plus manage MPT, construction staging, RFI responses, and submittal reviews. Participate in public outreach, community board meetings, and client presentations. Requires a Civil Engineering degree, AutoCAD proficiency, and 0-4 years experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
- 0-4 years experience
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience a plus)
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and technical writing skills
- EIT Certification Preferred
