Job Summary

Conduct instruction, practice planning, and advisement for men's and women's track and field throws programs, assisting head coaches in implementing training plans. Deliver quality coaching during pre-season, in-season practices, and competitions for indoor and outdoor seasons. Mentor student-athletes to promote athletic, emotional, and social growth while attending all competitions to assist with meet strategies. Manage meet preparation, set-up, and home competition logistics, including equipment care. Support active recruiting by evaluating potential athletes, maintaining communication, and participating in campus visits. Supervise student workers and comply with NCAA Division III, MIAC, and St. Olaf Bylaws. This part-time role requires flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and travel, with a salary of $8,500.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year of high school, club, or college coaching experience
