Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and prepare classroom materials to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting learning environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement, individualized supervision, and daily care routines. Communicate with families regarding child progress and daily activities while adhering to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations. The role involves working productively without supervision and lifting up to 50 lbs. This position is part of a new school opening in September at a Goddard School location in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, offering a premium educational experience in state-of-the-art facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
