Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare learning materials, and supervise children during activities, meals, and naptime to ensure a safe environment. Help lead innovative learning activities that promote development, monitor individual progress, and maintain a harmonious atmosphere for students and staff. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while fostering a nurturing attitude toward young learners. This role requires a high school diploma, 12 Child Development Units, and experience with toddler and preschool students. Starting pay is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour with a $1,000 hiring bonus paid in two installments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
