Job Summary

Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum while nurturing each child's emotional, social, and cognitive development. Engage with children during learning, play, and transitions, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly, collaborating with other teachers and school leaders to ensure excellence in every classroom. You will also complete required pre-service, on-the-job, and annual training hours while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation standards. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of experience with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers competitive pay of $19.29-$21.50 per hour, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and ongoing professional development opportunities at The Gardner School of Central Park.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs and perform other caregiving duties
  • Meets all Colorado state licensing requirements for early childhood staff
  • Meets all background check and fingerprinting requirements per Colorado state licensing regulations
  • Reliable and professional with consistent attendance
  • Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism when addressing stressful situations or unexpected challenges
  • Must remain alert and engaged while supervising children at all times
  • Must complete required pre-service, onboarding, and annual training hours
  • Must adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
