Job Summary
Administrative role supporting two Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs) for Colleges and Units within Cornell’s Alumni Affairs and Development. Responsibilities include coordinating high-volume calendars, travel logistics, and meetings; drafting internal/external communications and strategic messaging; managing project timelines and division-wide initiatives; budget oversight and forecasting support; maintaining policy documents and documentation; and facilitating confidential information flow across the leadership team. Requires independent operation, discretion with sensitive material, and effective collaboration with senior leaders, faculty, staff, and alumni relations. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus 2 days/week, remote 3 days/week).
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and 4-6 years relevant experience in a high-paced office environment or equivalent combination
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation
- Ability to coordinate the flow of large volumes of work and information
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite including PeopleSoft and Tableau
- Ability to navigate and interpret data; handle confidential/sensitive material
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and deadlines; professional discretion and judgment
- Experience supporting senior management or executive level is a plus
