Job Summary
Support the Print Designer in creating original prints and graphics from concept through pre-production, communicating effectively and applying new information to future projects. Research emerging print and graphic concepts for inspiration, proactively understand production constraints for factory-ready artwork and repeats, and assist with strike-off comments. Continually practice illustration, repeats, and techniques to improve technical and brand understanding across multiple fabrics including bras, panties, lingerie, and sleepwear. Submit a resume with artwork links or PDFs and specify which brand interests you most.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months - 1.5 years of experience in textile design (internship experience ok)
- Degree in Textile Design or related field
- Strong illustrative hand, painting skills & color sense
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn
