Job Summary
Foster supportive relationships with participants and families while promoting excellent customer service and implementing person-centred practices across the team. Manage participant documentation with accuracy and compliance, complete administrative tasks such as reporting and coordination, and support teams in reviewing support plans. Participate in the "On Duty" roster for out-of-hours support and respond to urgent matters, including a rotating on-call roster covering mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers. Maintain current First Aid and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, hold a valid driver's licence for Mercy Connect vehicles, and demonstrate strong coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving capabilities aligned with organisational values.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to apply person centred active support
- Experience managing participant documentation with accuracy and compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support teams in implementing and reviewing participant support plans
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability aligned with organisational values
- Well-developed organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach
- High level computer literacy and confidence using technology
- Certificate IV in Disability or (related discipline), or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current, valid driver's licence and a willingness to drive Mercy Connect vehicles
- Availability to work across a 24-7 rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers (as required)
- Participation in a rotating on-call roster, including work outside standard hours
- Current First Aid Certificate
