Assistant Team Administrator

Job Summary
Assist in the administration of all team operations across Utah Soccer Clubs, including travel logistics, league compliance, scheduling, and team support; travel extensively domestically and internationally to support games, training camps, and events; coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries) and ensure compliance with club and league requirements; serve as a liaison between players, coaches, vendors, and internal departments; manage operational projects, budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management; maintain confidential team and player records and support matchday and training operations; requires exceptional organizational skills and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in professional sports, collegiate athletics, team operations, event operations, business operations, or a related field.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including extended domestic and international trips, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and operational matters.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business technology platforms.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Experience working in professional soccer, MLS, NWSL, USL, NCAA Division I athletics, or other elite sports environments
- Knowledge of MLS roster rules, league operations, and player administration procedures
- Experience coordinating domestic and international travel
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and expenses
- Experience coordinating travel logistics and vendor management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business technology platforms
