Job Summary

Teach courses within the Journalism major and minor, including core reporting classes JRN 201 and JRN 102, as well as undergraduate special topics based on expertise. Lead the Journalism curriculum by integrating professional skill sets such as investigative reporting, multimedia news production, AI and journalism, photojournalism, or other specialized sub-fields. Submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a 10-page work sample via the Workday portal.

Required Qualifications

  • MFA or Ph.D. in relevant field at time of appointment
  • previous experience teaching undergraduate journalism courses
  • previous experience working in a professional newsroom
