Job Summary
Assist in directing, managing, and evaluating student learning in the classroom, clinical area, and designated skills labs as part of the Practical Nursing program. Monitor and evaluate student performance based on established grading guidelines; coordinate skills lab check-offs and clinical competencies; plan and prepare for classroom and clinical assignments; participate in faculty meetings; maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress; demonstrate nursing principles; support clinical affiliates with effective instruction; work evenings and weekends as required; utilize Microsoft Office; collaborate effectively as part of a faculty team; and contribute to student development and program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Active, Unencumbered Registered Nursing (RN) license in the State of Arkansas
- Two (2) years clinical experience and/or education experience in a designated facility
- Associate Degree in any field or combination of education and relevant certifications
- Previous clinical experience in clinical nursing practice and/or education
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office to a level of proficiency
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Ability to plan and prepare for classroom and clinical assignments
- Possession of sound nursing principles and the ability to interpret procedures and policies
