Job Summary
Assistant Teacher to support Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons using Frog Street curriculum; assist with caregiving tasks (diapering, toileting, meals); maintain a clean, organized classroom; support classroom management and positive behavior; supervise children during indoor/outdoor activities; foster relationships with students and families; ensure compliance with state licensing and school policies. Requires teamwork, willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- CDA, TCC, or experience working toward an early childhood education credential preferred
- GED or High School Diploma required
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting (or strong desire to learn)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements
