Job Summary
Assistant Teachers support classroom leadership, partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, and help implement the proprietary LEAP Curriculum. Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum implementation, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, communicating with families about child progress via mobile apps and in-person discussions, collaborating with center staff to support retention, enrollment, and engagement goals, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues. Qualifications require a High School Diploma or GED (ECE coursework preferred), at least 18 years old, and adherence to state requirements and health/safety training. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, tuition assistance, and other perks. Physical duties include standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
