Job Summary
Assistant Teacher responsibilities include leading and co-teaching in a stimulating classroom, supporting the implementation of the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum across Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, communicating with families about child progress via mobile apps and in-person discussions, collaborating with center staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement, and building warm relationships with families and colleagues to support children’s learning and development. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum age of 18, state compliance, and immunization/health and safety training as part of qualifications; experience in childcare or passion for early childhood education is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED required. ECE coursework preferred.
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age.
- Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
- State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Meet state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
