Job Summary
Assist with daily classroom routines and learning activities for infants through preschool-aged children, support developmentally appropriate experiences, help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom, guide children through transitions (meals, rest time, learning centers), support lesson implementation, encourage positive social interaction, communicate professionally with families and teaching team members, and follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies.
Required Qualifications
- Prior childcare experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- CDA preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach to working with children
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
