Job Summary
Assistant Teacher role supporting classroom leadership and curriculum delivery. Partner with teachers to create a welcoming space for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers; implement the proprietary LEAP Curriculum; prioritize safety and nurturing environments; communicate progress with families via apps and in-person discussions; collaborate with center staff to support retention, enrollment, and engagement. Requires a high school diploma or GED (ECE coursework preferred) and meeting state health/safety requirements; minimum age 18; previous childcare experience or passion for early childhood education is preferred. Physical and daily responsibilities include active supervision, helping with diapering, dressing, grooming, feeding, and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- State compliance (immunizations, health/safety training)
- Experience in childcare or demonstrated passion for early childhood education (preferred)
- Ability to meet state-specific guidelines
