Job Summary
Partner closely with teachers to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow. Support staff in implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers while prioritizing a safe, nurturing environment. Regularly update parents on child progress via mobile apps and in-person discussions, and collaborate with center leadership to drive retention and enrollment goals. Cultivate warm relationships with families and colleagues, ensuring children's everyday needs are met through activities that encourage social skills and active engagement. Maintain composure and professionalism while working extended periods standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and supervising children in temperatures ranging from 20°F to 95°F.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
- Must meet state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training
- Demonstrates full range of motion to stand and walk for extended periods of time without significant discomfort
- Safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Reach, stretch with hands and arms
- Climb or balance
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Use a stool or ladder to reach high places as necessary
- Ability to supervise by sight and sound
- Most days, employee will be working a portion of the day outside in temperatures ranging from 20°F with wind chill to 95°F
- Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job functions
Desired Qualifications
- ECE coursework
