Job Summary
Assist Lead Teachers to implement age-appropriate lessons and activities for infants through preschoolers; maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom; support daily routines including meals and transitions; observe and share developmental milestones; foster a collaborative classroom environment; and build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Requires availability M-F 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and willingness to obtain SC Health & Safety Certification and First Aid/CPR certification prior to orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required
- Availability to work M-F 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work M-F 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Early Childhood Education coursework or related education is a plus
