Job Summary
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions and active engagement. Assist with age-appropriate classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines while helping children feel safe, supported, and included. Supervise children, provide individualized care, prepare materials, and maintain a clean, safe learning environment. Support meals, toileting, diapering, and rest periods as needed. Communicate daily activities to parents and follow all health, safety, and licensing procedures. Available for morning (7:00–9:00 a.m.) or afternoon (2:00–5:30 p.m.) shifts. High school diploma required; college coursework in education or related fields is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Interest in or aspiration toward working with children
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care and supervision of children
- Ability to pass all required state background checks and meet applicable state requirements

- Previous experience with children
- College coursework in education, early childhood education, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Caring, patient, dependable, and able to work collaboratively
- Willingness to learn about child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to work productively with guidance and independently when appropriate
- Energetic, nurturing, reliable, and excited to work with children
