Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement. Prepare classroom materials, maintain a safe and clean environment, and supervise individualized support for students while fostering a sense of belonging. Assist the Lead Teacher in communicating with families regarding progress and daily activities, adhering to health, safety, and licensing regulations. Manage daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning atmosphere. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
Desired Qualifications
- associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Basic understanding of child development
