Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities, support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement, prepare classroom materials, supervise and provide individualized support to children, communicate with families about children’s progress, adhere to health and safety licensing regulations, support daily care routines, and contribute to creating a nurturing, safe, inviting learning environment; this role is full-time and located in Piscataway, NJ. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Must pass required state background checks
- Must meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
