Job Summary
Lead fun, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for school-age children before and after school, while supervising the group to ensure a safe environment. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through daily routines like snacks, hygiene, and transitions, using positive guidance to encourage good behavior. Partner with teachers to maintain an organized, clean classroom and build positive relationships with families and coworkers. Work a consistent weekday schedule from 6:30–9:00 AM and 3–5:45 PM with starting pay of $15/hour, with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have a high school diploma/GED (or be working toward one)
- Have reliable transportation
- Be willing to complete required training once hired (CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, etc.)
- Be able to stay active throughout your shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs
