Job Summary
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while supporting each child's social and emotional development. Build positive family relations and collaborate closely with lead teachers and the entire faculty. Work productively without supervision to ensure smooth school operations, including the ability to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking. Lift up to 50 lbs. for child safety and program facilitation. Schedules vary between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, ending by 6:00 pm, with no nights or weekends. We review applications within two business days and schedule interviews within one business day if selected.
Required Qualifications
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty
- Works productively without supervision
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outstanding ability to listen and follow up on issues constructively
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for night shifts
