Job Summary
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities; support developmental needs of children in a safe, engaging environment; encourage positive interactions; maintain a clean and organized classroom; communicate with parents/guardians about children's progress; participate in staff meetings and professional development; supervise children during indoor/outdoor activities; assist in assessing and documenting children’s growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in education preferred
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators
- Basic knowledge of child development principles
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Background check required
