Job Summary
Assistant Teacher responsible for maintaining a safe, engaging classroom and supporting the daily care and development of children. Responsibilities include observing, assessing, and planning for children; effectively communicating with families; following licensing guidelines and company standards; and completing extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The role requires energetic, dependable individuals with a passion for working with children, capable of meeting state/accreditation requirements, and able to work in both indoor and outdoor settings. Monday-Friday, Delmar, NY. Compensation includes hourly pay with options for bi-weekly and daily pay, health insurance options, 401K with company match, and education assistance for full-time employees; part-time employees may have limited medical offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
