Job Summary
Assistant Teacher at Kids Point Learning Center (Turning Point Church) responsible for the education, care, and supervision of children birth through 4 years old. Help promote positive interactions, plan and organize activities, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. Requires caring, strong communication skills, understanding of DECAL licensing requirements, willingness to receive ongoing training, and a faith-based commitment to Christian values. Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous daycare experience in supporting children’s growth and development
- Have a good understanding of DECAL licensing requirements
- Have a genuinely caring and compassionate attitude when caring for children
- Strong communication (oral & written) and listening skills to converse with children, parents, and other personnel
- Willing to receive on-going training in compliance with center licensing
- A faithful believer in Jesus Christ; high moral character and values
