Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement. Prepare classroom materials, maintain a safe and clean environment, and supervise individualized support for students. Assist the Lead Teacher in fostering a sense of belonging while communicating progress to families and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Manage daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning atmosphere. This full-time role (9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday) requires six months of experience in a licensed childcare center. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of six months of experience in a licensed childcare center
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Must pass required state background checks
- Meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements

- Associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively without supervision
- Basic understanding of child development
