Job Summary

Support instructional delivery by implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with early learning standards and individual child goals. Facilitate learning through whole-group, small-group, and individualized activities while fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment. Prepare learning spaces, model positive behaviors, and engage in play-based experiences to promote foundational skills. Ensure child safety and supervision across all settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips. Assist with daily care routines, maintain accurate records for compliance, and collaborate with families and staff. Provide classroom leadership as needed and participate in required trainings. Requires an associate's degree in early childhood education, Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education Certification, and minimum two years of experience. Starting salary is $20.25 - $24.00/hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in an early childhood setting
  • Obtain and maintain current clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint)
  • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification
  • Completion of mandated reporter training

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education Certification (Pre-K–4)
  • the ability to obtain certification within one year
  • Experience supporting curriculum development and classroom management
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development principles, early learning standards, and best practices in early education
  • Capable of assisting in lesson planning, classroom implementation, and ongoing observation and assessment of children's progress
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Slides, Gmail) and other digital tools to support classroom documentation, communication, and collaboration
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
