Job Summary
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all children while providing active supervision to ensure safety and compliance with required ratios. Support daily activities and curriculum implementation alongside the lead teacher, assisting with classroom routines, organization, and communication with families. Help bring the curriculum to life through positive guidance, interaction, and play to support children's development in a collaborative team setting. Maintain a dependable presence ready to contribute each day while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to complete ongoing professional development
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting
- Basic understanding of classroom procedures
