Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 16 months to 6 years by working side-by-side with lead teachers to foster independence and confidence. Assist with classroom management, guiding children through self-directed activities while maintaining open communication with parents. Manage the care and maintenance of teaching materials and equipment. Maintain regular operating hours without evening or weekend shifts. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for childcare employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in early childhood development or related field
- Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education
