Job Summary
Collaborate with lead teachers to instruct a class of 12 students on STEM-based curriculum, daily activities, and multi-cultural education. Manage classroom routines by establishing rules, promoting personal responsibility, and applying appropriate behavior management techniques. Attend to children's basic needs including feeding and dressing, while supervising projects, field trips, and guest visits. Maintain a safe, healthy environment and communicate weekly updates to parents regarding student progress. Work a full-time 40-hour schedule from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm in beautiful facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- Must have CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Must have impeccable references and a proven track record of caring and nurturing children
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
