Job Summary
Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons and routines using the Frog Street curriculum. Assist with caregiving tasks, including diapering, toileting, and meal routines, while helping maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies. Foster relationships with students and families through kind, professional interactions. Monday-Friday schedule at the Bogart location.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Must pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- CDA
- TCC
- Experience working toward an early childhood education credential
- Strong desire to learn (in the context of obtaining credentials)
