Job Summary
Supervise tasting room and event operations, manage a team of four to six associates, and ensure daily facility cleanliness and proper opening/closing procedures. Process reservations, maintain inventory lists, and resolve patron complaints while conducting wine tastings to educate customers. Manage the wine club by handling membership enrollment, shipments, and communications, developing events to drive sales, and maintaining accurate member records. Act as the primary contact for wine club members to ensure satisfaction and address concerns. Collaborate with the sales team to execute new strategies and increase club revenue. Requires one year of management experience in a tasting room or sales setting, strong wine knowledge, and the ability to work flexible evening and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience managing a tasting room or similar sales and service-based management experience
- 1 years of experience in a wine club or wine-related customer service & sales role
- Strong knowledge of wine and wine production
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Comfortable standing for long periods
