Assistant Swim Team Coach

Job Summary
Conduct daily swim practices under the direction of the head coach and assist in writing group workouts. Help register new participants and maintain cleanliness and order of the aquatics facilities. Promote Life Time products, services, and programs to guests while offering technique mastery opportunities for competitive swimmers. Requires ASCA membership, USA Swimming certification, and Life Time Swim Instructor Certification. Must hold Lifeguard certification (StarGuard Elite) and complete BLS CPR/First Aid training. Position involves stationary and mobile work in state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor pools. Life Time operates over 160 athletic country clubs dedicated to holistic well-being for all ages.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of swim coaching experience
- Member of ASCA
- Member of USA Swimming
- Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
- Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education

- ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
