Job Summary
Conduct daily swim practices under the head coach's direction and master technique for competitive swimmers. Collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to design group workouts and register new participants. Maintain facility cleanliness and order in both indoor and outdoor pools while promoting Life Time products and services. Requires ASCA or USA Swimming membership, Life Time Swim Instructor Certification, and StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification. Must swim 25 yards without stopping and lift up to 20 lbs routinely.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of swim coaching experience
- Member of ASCA
- Member of USA Swimming
- Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
- Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education
Desired Qualifications
- ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
