Job Summary
Oversee a team of production associates to execute fabrication tasks, improve manufacturing processes using lean and 6 sigma principles, and meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Coordinate daily team activities, assign projects based on skills, and manage inventory accuracy for materials, tools, and equipment. Monitor the cable process, conduct regular inspections, and enforce safety protocols including PPE requirements and safety audits. Maintain accurate production records in Epicor, track machine downtime, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules. Provide coaching to hourly associates, lead training initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts to eliminate waste. Assist the Materials Supervisor in scheduling, authorizing overtime, and preparing reports on efficiency and labor utilization.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing/Production experience in fast-paced, continuous improvement changing environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and MRP transactions (Epicor preferred)
- Excellent people skills with a proven ability in supervising, coaching, and training employees
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to adapt & thrive in a fast-paced/high growth work environment

- Bi-lingual English / Spanish language capability a plus
