Assistant Supervisor - Receiving

Job Summary
Manage accurate inbound freight receiving, finished goods put-away, and unload coordination to ensure 100% load completion accuracy. Directly oversee forklift driver performance and monitor individual Receiving Associate work within the receiving areas. Lead associate development, discipline, safety, and morale while maintaining food safety, employee safety, and quality standards per GMP and SOPs. Support process improvement teams, generate recommendations for receiving enhancements, and complete all required reports and paperwork. Perform shift-end sanitation and housekeeping. Work Monday through Saturday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Regular and reliable attendance
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a cold (34 degrees F) and wet environment
- Demonstrated success working within a team environment
- Flexible with hours and days worked
- Self-starter with a desire to promote innovation to meet our Standards for Food Quality and Safety
Desired Qualifications
- AS 400 and Excel proficiency
- Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish
- Food industry experience
- 1-4 years Receiving experience
