Job Summary
The Assistant Supervisor PT is responsible for implementing ABA treatment programs for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders, providing mid-level supervision and direct therapy. The role includes supervising Behavior Technicians, conducting Caregiver Collaboration meetings, assisting with FBAs and BIPs, and training new staff. Candidates must obtain a BCAT or RBT Credential within 90 days, have a Bachelor’s degree with ABA units and relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with appropriate experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective training skills are essential, along with reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) Credential or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Credential to be obtained within 90 days of starting
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12 units of ABA and 1 year of experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 2 years' experience OR a master’s degree with the appropriate experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to train others effectively in various formats
- Empathetic and compassionate individual with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets
